International Relations

The focus of our policy-oriented studies is on international and security issues in the immediate areas of Indonesia’s interests including ASEAN and Southeast Asia, East Asia and the Asia Pacific.

Fields of study include strategic and security issues, the political economy of international relations, non-traditional security issues, and area studies.

The emphasis will be placed on Indonesia defense and security policy, transnational crimes, terrorism, and small arms transfers in the Asia Pacific.

Terrorism and transnational crimes have also been areas of research.
